Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 2026
This policy explains what personal information leo-fortune.com collects, why it is collected,
how long it is kept and what you can ask for. It applies to the Site and to the emails sent from
it.
For anything in this policy, write to
contact@leo-fortune.com.
1. What is collected
When you ask for a free reading: your first name, your email address, your date of
birth, your country, and the fact that you agreed to receive email, with the time you agreed.
When you write through the contact page: your name, your email address, the reason you
chose and whatever you put in your message.
When you buy something: your name, your email address, your order details and, where an
object is posted to you, your postal address. Card details are handled by the payment provider
and are never received or stored here.
Automatically, when you visit: your IP address, the type of device and browser you use,
the pages you open, the site that sent you and similar technical information. See the
Cookie Policy.
When you receive an email: whether it was opened and which links in it were used.
2. Why it is collected, and on what basis
- To prepare and send your reading. Basis: performance of what you asked for. The date
of birth is used only for this and for the material that follows it. - To send you letters, offers and news by email. Basis: your consent, given on the form
and withdrawable at any time. - To take payment, deliver purchases and keep the records a business must keep. Basis:
performance of a contract, and legal obligation. - To answer your messages. Basis: your request, and legitimate interest in replying.
- To keep the Site working, secure and free of fraud, and to understand which pages are
used. Basis: legitimate interest, and your consent for anything that is not strictly
necessary.
A date of birth is treated here as ordinary personal information. It is not used to draw any
conclusion about health, beliefs, origin or any other special category, and it is never sold.
3. Who else sees it
Your information is not sold and is not rented. It is shared only with the suppliers needed to
run the service, and only with what they need:
- the company that hosts the Site;
- the platform that sends and manages the email;
- the payment provider that processes purchases;
- the postal or fulfilment service, where an object is sent to you;
- professional advisers, and any authority where the law requires disclosure.
Each supplier is bound by contract to use the information only as instructed.
4. Where it is held
Information is held on servers inside the European Economic Area wherever possible. Where a
supplier operates outside it, the transfer is covered by the standard contractual clauses
approved by the European Commission or by an equivalent safeguard.
5. How long it is kept
- Mailing list details: until you unsubscribe, and for two years after that so that the
unsubscribe is respected and can be proved. - Purchase and payment records: for as long as accounting and tax law requires.
- Contact messages: two years from the last exchange.
- Technical and cookie information: as set out in the Cookie
Policy.
6. What you can ask for
You may ask, at any time and free of charge, to:
- see a copy of the information held about you;
- have anything wrong corrected;
- have your information deleted;
- have its use restricted, or object to its use;
- receive it in a portable form;
- withdraw your consent, which does not affect what was done before you withdrew it;
- complain to the data protection authority in the country where you live.
Write to contact@leo-fortune.com and put the
request in the first line. A reply is given within one month. Proof of identity may be asked for,
so that information is not handed to the wrong person.
7. Stopping the emails
Every email carries an unsubscribe link at the foot. One click stops them. You may also write
to the address above. Stopping the emails does not delete a purchase record, which must be kept
for accounting.
8. Security
The Site uses an encrypted connection. Access to personal information is limited to the people
who need it. No system is perfect, and no guarantee can honestly be given, but a breach that
affects you will be reported as the law requires.
9. Children
The Site is not for anyone under eighteen. Information known to belong to a child is deleted.
If you believe a child has sent details, write to the address above and it will be removed.
10. Automated decisions
No decision producing a legal or similarly significant effect is made about you by automatic
means. Emails may be selected by simple rules, such as the country you gave or whether you opened
the last letter.
11. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated. The version on this page is the one that applies, and the date at
the top shows when it last changed. A material change is announced by email.
